PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Presently a partner in the firm of McConnell and Lipton LLP, Stephen N. Lipton is a Florida Supreme Court certified mediator and arbitrator with 35 years of practice as a trial attorney in complex commercial litigation and trials in state and federal courts involving a wide variety of claims arising out of commercial transactions, antitrust and unfair trade practices, governmental agency cases, and a broad spectrum of construction and land development projects, including cases involving defects in building design, construction and products, job site disputes, condominium and high-rise construction, land development issues, inverse condemnation and eminent domain. Throughout his career, Steve managed litigation departments for law firms and was lead counsel in the trial of many complex cases. He is available to mediate or arbitrate any commercial matter and is especially qualified in commercial, construction and land use litigation.
